Player Wellbeing & Safety

Responsible Gaming

At ph36, we believe that gaming should always be a source of entertainment — never a source of stress, financial hardship, or harm. We are committed to providing every Filipino player with the tools, information, and support they need to stay in control and play responsibly.

Gambling is addictive. Know when to stop.
If you or someone you know is experiencing gambling-related harm, please use the tools and resources on this page. ph36 is a 21+ platform only. Underage gambling is strictly prohibited.

Our Commitment

How ph36 Keeps You Safe

Responsible gaming is not just a checkbox for ph36 — it is built into every layer of our platform. Here is what we do to protect our players.

Strict 21+ Age Verification

Every ph36 player must verify their age before depositing or playing. We use government-issued ID checks to ensure that no one under 21 can access real-money gaming on our platform. This is non-negotiable — no exceptions.

Player-Controlled Limits

ph36 gives you full control over your gaming activity. Set your own deposit limits, loss limits, and session time reminders directly from your account dashboard. Once set, limits can only be increased after a mandatory cooling-off period.

Self-Exclusion Options

If you feel you need a break, ph36 offers both temporary cooling-off periods (24 hours to 6 weeks) and permanent self-exclusion. During exclusion, your account is locked and you will not receive any promotional communications from ph36.

Reality Checks & Session Alerts

It is easy to lose track of time when you are enjoying your favorite games. ph36 sends automatic session time reminders so you always know how long you have been playing and how much you have spent during that session.

24/7 Support Access

Our responsible gaming support team is available around the clock via live chat. Whether you need help setting limits, requesting a self-exclusion, or just want to talk to someone, ph36 support is always there for you.

PAGCOR Compliance

ph36 operates in compliance with PAGCOR's responsible gaming framework. We follow all regulatory guidelines on player protection, including mandatory responsible gaming disclosures, self-exclusion registry participation, and staff training.

Understanding the Basics

What Is Responsible Gaming?

Responsible gaming means enjoying online casino games, sports betting, bingo, and slots as a form of entertainment — while keeping it within your personal limits of time and money. At ph36, we want every Filipino player to experience the thrill of gaming without it ever becoming a problem.

Gambling becomes problematic when it stops being fun and starts affecting your finances, relationships, work, or mental health. The good news is that problem gambling is recognizable and manageable — especially when you have the right tools and support around you.

ph36 encourages all players to treat gaming as leisure — the same way you would budget for a night out in Makati or a weekend trip to Cebu. Set a budget, stick to it, and never chase losses. Gaming should add to your enjoyment of life, not take away from it.

Remember: The house always has a mathematical edge. Gaming outcomes are determined by certified random number generators. There is no strategy that guarantees a win, and past results never predict future outcomes.
21+
Strictly 21 and Above Only Under Philippine law and PAGCOR regulations, casino-style gambling is restricted to persons aged 21 years and older. ph36 enforces this strictly through mandatory ID verification at registration.
Signs of Healthy Gaming
  • You play for fun, not to make money or escape problems
  • You set a budget before you start and stop when it is reached
  • You never borrow money or use bill money to gamble
  • You can stop playing whenever you choose to
  • Gaming does not interfere with your work, family, or social life
  • You accept losses as the cost of entertainment, not as debts to recover

Self-Assessment

Are You Gaming Responsibly?

Answer these questions honestly. If you answer "yes" to three or more, it may be time to use ph36's responsible gaming tools or seek support.

Quick Self-Check

This is not a clinical assessment — it is a simple reflection tool to help you check in with yourself.

1
Do you find yourself spending more money on gaming than you originally planned?
2
Have you ever borrowed money or sold something to fund your gaming?
3
Do you feel restless, irritable, or anxious when you try to cut down or stop playing?
4
Have you ever lied to family members or friends about how much time or money you spend gaming?
5
Do you find yourself chasing losses — continuing to play to try to win back money you have lost?
6
Has gaming ever caused problems with your work, studies, or relationships?
7
Do you use gaming as a way to escape stress, anxiety, depression, or personal problems?
8
Have you ever tried to stop or cut back on gaming but found it difficult to do so?

If you answered "yes" to 3 or more questions, we strongly encourage you to use ph36's self-exclusion or limit-setting tools, or to contact our support team for a confidential conversation.

Player Protection Tools

Your ph36 Responsible Gaming Toolkit

All of these tools are available directly from your ph36 account at no cost. You are always in control.

Deposit Limits

Set a maximum amount you can deposit into your ph36 account per day, week, or month. Once your limit is reached, no further deposits are accepted until the period resets. Limit reductions take effect immediately; increases require a 7-day waiting period.

Loss Limits

Cap the total amount you can lose within a set period. When your loss limit is reached, your account is automatically restricted from further real-money play until the period resets. This is one of the most effective tools for staying within your budget.

Session Time Limits

Set a maximum session duration. When your time is up, ph36 will display a notification and log you out automatically. You decide how long is long enough.

Cooling-Off Period

Need a short break? Activate a cooling-off period of 24 hours, 48 hours, 1 week, or up to 6 weeks. Your account is suspended for gaming during this time. You can still withdraw any remaining balance, but you cannot deposit or play.

Self-Exclusion

For a more serious break, request a self-exclusion of 6 months, 1 year, 3 years, or permanent. During self-exclusion, your account is fully locked, all marketing communications are stopped, and you cannot re-register. Permanent exclusion cannot be reversed.

Reality Check Reminders

Enable pop-up reminders at intervals you choose (every 30, 60, or 90 minutes). Each reminder shows your current session duration and net gaming balance, giving you a clear picture of your activity so you can make an informed decision to continue or stop.

Recognizing the Signs

Warning Signs of Problem Gambling

Problem gambling can affect anyone — regardless of age, income, or background. It often develops gradually, which is why it is important to recognize the early warning signs. At ph36, we want every player to be informed and empowered to seek help when needed.

Common warning signs include: spending more than you can afford, hiding your gaming activity from loved ones, feeling anxious or depressed when not playing, neglecting responsibilities at work or at home, and continuing to play despite repeated losses. If any of these sound familiar, please reach out — you are not alone, and help is available.

Gambling is addictive. Know when to stop.
This is not just a tagline — it is a genuine reminder from ph36 and PAGCOR that gambling addiction is a recognized condition that requires real support. There is no shame in asking for help.

For Friends & Family

Worried About Someone You Know?

Problem gambling does not only affect the person gambling — it affects the whole family. If you are concerned about a family member or friend who may have a gambling problem, here are some steps you can take:

  • Talk to them calmly and without judgment. Express your concern using "I" statements rather than accusations.
  • Encourage them to use ph36's self-exclusion tools or to seek professional counseling.
  • Do not cover their gambling debts — this can enable the behavior to continue.
  • Take care of your own mental health. Supporting someone with a gambling problem can be emotionally draining.
  • Contact ph36 support on their behalf if they are unwilling or unable to do so themselves. We can guide you through the options available.
